At KCPE we emphasize on instilling confidence and independence promoting critical thinking that will help the students to act and react in real life situations. We aim to create in our students a cutting edge which will bring success in the emerging competitive world. To equip student with required attitude and aptitude to become successful teachers of Physical Education. Their training programs have been designed from morning till evening. Competitions through intramurals are arranged throughout the session in various sports. The college arranges coaching from experts to prepare teams for Inter-University, Inter-State, National and International Level competitive events. The college has all the required facilities for various outdoor and indoor games. Shooting range has recently been added to the indoor games.

BRIEF HISTORY :
The managing committee Khalsa College Society, Amritsar vide Resolution No. 362 dated 08/08/2006 resolved to established Khalsa College of Physical Education at Village Heir, Distt. Amritsar . The committee vide its Resolution No. 381 dated 07/10/2006 resolved to reserve 7.5 Acres of land for this purpose. Keeping in view the revised Norms & Conditions of NRC – NCTE of the requirement of atleast 8 Acres of land.
The managing Committee vide its Resolution No. 88 dated 24/03/08 again revised the resolution No. 381 dated 07/10/2006 and reserved 8 Acres of land instead of 7.5 Acres for the establishment of the college.
Local managing committee of Gurudwara VPO Heir, Distt. Amritsar vide Resolution No. 33 dated 19/03/05 and Resolution No. 38 dated 24/05/05 resolved to Gift/Donate 75 Kanals 19 Marla’s (9 Acres 3 Kanals & 19 Marla’s) land to Khalsa Collge Society. This Resolution was endorsed by Shriomani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, Amritsar. Vide Resolution No. 813 dated 27/05/05 and S.Sukhwant Singh S/o S.Gurbachan Singh , President local Gurudwara Committee VPO Heir and S. Tarlok Singh , Patwari , Shriomani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee , Amritsar was authorized to execute the 99 years lease/gift deed in favour of Khalsa College Society , Amritsar.
This lease deed was duly registered in the office Sub-Registrar Amritsar – II on 27/06/05 vide no. 3444 Vol I page 4546. After the execution of this lease deed. It was duly entered in the Jamabandi Record 2004-05 of VPO Heir. Distt Asr. And Mutation No. 3874 was recorded in the revenue record. Now, in the revenue record a land measuring 75 Kanal 19 Marla’s (9 Acres 3 Kanals & 19 Marla’s) is shown in the name of Khalsa College Society, Amritsar.
